MENARES, while entirely independent, is a member of the International Real Estate Society (IRES). IRES is a federation of regional real estate societies which enhances as well as encourages global cooperation and communication between its members. IRES was established in 1991 with the American Real Estate Society and the Asian Real Estate Society as its founding members. For more than a decade IRES has connected real estate societies from all four corners of the globe, excluding the MENA region. Today, IRES welcomes its newest member – one of the world's most exciting regions in terms of real estate development and growth – the Middle East & North Africa.
